Sympathy and Empathy
I have an issue with how people misuse the words sympathy and empathy and all the variations. I don’t know if this was done intentionally, or through ignorance, but I find it frustrating when reading a post or story and the words are misused. It’s no wonder that empaths are confused with what they are experiencing when the words are used inter-changeablely.
If you do a google image search for “sympathy and empathy” you will come up with a host of meme examples and definitions.
