What is Spirituality?

Most people believe that being Spiritual is having a positive attitude, being kind, forgiving, and in being of service to others. That’s really not any different than being religious. While this is a form of love, it is conditional love, as it fails to notice the unseen role of denial present. Others believe that being Spiritual means being conscious and aware, but that is only part of the equation as it usually focuses on the outer reflection, and in trying to be proactive and positive to change ones outer reality.

To integrate ones Spiritual Being, one must not only be conscious and aware of the external, but also of the internal, especially of ones thoughts, intuition, feelings and emotions, and (most importantly) the role that denial plays in ones life experiences. When one becomes aware of what denial really is, one also becomes aware of what unconditional love is. It is the balance between the Yin (Feminine) and Yang (Masculine) aspects of ones Divine Spiritual Being within ones physical body, creating ones physical reality. With that conscious realization, one then needs to APPLY that awareness to ones life experiences, by being authentic, real, and living in the moment. Easy to say, but doing it is a whole different story.
